🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1965, a 17-year-old in Orlando, Florida, observed an object that appeared to change colors and move in an unusual way. The witness described a sphere shifting from red to yellow, passing through orange and white, and moving like a gyroscope. It left a vapor trail when it disappeared and made no sound. The observation lasted about 13 minutes, with the object moving erratically westward. The object's light reflected in a nearby lake, adding to the mystery. Although the report suggested it could be an optical illusion, the detailed description and color changes drew attention.
The classified U.S. Air Force report notes that the object was seen at a considerable altitude, much higher than any nearby aircraft. The witness, a student, described an unusual and rapid trajectory with sudden altitude changes. The report also includes coordinates and data from other observers, but no physical evidence was found. Despite the official explanation, the object's description and behavior remain intriguing and lack a clear explanation.
