A 1965 report describes a UFO sighted in Duluth, Minnesota, during the early hours of August 12. A neighbor noticed an object moving rapidly across the sky, describing it as a bright white star with a slight tail. The object made no sound and traveled northeast for approximately 10 minutes. The observation was made with the naked eye and no unusual features were noted. Investigators concluded it was likely a satellite, specifically ECHO II, which was in orbit over the region at that time. Although the initial witness could not provide precise positional data, other records confirmed the satellite's presence in the area, leading to the conclusion that the sighting was consistent with a satellite observation.
