🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1965, a witness in Little Rock, Arkansas, observed a luminous object moving in a zigzag pattern across the sky. The object was seen for approximately 1 to 2 minutes, without emitting sound and with only one visible light. The object's trajectory moved toward the southeast, disappearing behind trees on the horizon. Due to the unusual path and the absence of noise, it was considered possibly a satellite. However, the variable speed and motion generated some confusion.
The observation was recorded as part of Project 10073, a system for collecting reports on unidentified aerial phenomena. Although no photographs were taken and no physical evidence was found, the report concluded the object was likely a satellite. However, the description of movement suggests it could have been an optical illusion or a misinterpretation of multiple light sources. The report did not reach a definitive conclusion but archived the observation for further analysis.
