🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1965, a civilian witness in Island Park, New York, observed several unidentified objects for two hours. The report details that photographs of the objects were taken, appearing as points of light. Although the images were analyzed, no clear origin was identified. The yellow and orange lights were possibly attributed to tungsten-type lights, while the blue and white lights could be due to mercury vapor or fluorescent sources. It was noted that the camera movement during multiple exposures caused irregular images.
The official investigation requested the original negatives for further analysis, which were returned after the study. Despite efforts, no clear explanation was found for the phenomenon. The report concludes that the objects could not be identified beyond being light sources, and no conclusive physical evidence was found. The case remains unsolved, adding another mystery to the history of UFO sightings in the 1960s.
