🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In August 1965, a UFO sighting over Nevada involved both visual and radar observations. An elongated object with green and red colors and a glowing white center was seen for three hours and fifteen minutes. Witnesses on the ground and in the air reported that the object would stop, restart, and make sharp climbs—behaviors inconsistent with conventional aircraft. Radar data from Tonopah and Winnemucca AFB confirmed the object's presence at 15,000 feet, but no definitive cause was identified. It was suggested that the object might be a weather phenomenon, such as an atmospheric "bubble" reflecting radar signals. Despite the lack of physical evidence, the report concluded that the sighting had no conventional explanation.
