🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1965, a witness in Corpus Christi, Texas reported an unusual aerial phenomenon that drew attention due to its strange behavior. The object appeared as a bright light moving quickly west, north, and south, changing colors and flickering. At times, the object seemed to hover and then suddenly accelerate. It was first seen at 90 degrees above the horizon and disappeared at around 10 degrees. Despite the detailed description, positional data was difficult to obtain and the quality of the information was considered poor.
The report, part of Project 10073, concluded that the phenomenon could be related to an astronomical body or celestial observation, although other possibilities were not ruled out. The observer used binoculars and no physical evidence or photographs were found. The description of the object and its behavior suggests an astronomical nature, but the lack of precise data kept uncertainty about its true identity.
