🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1965, two military observers in Alexandria, Louisiana, reported seeing two star-shaped objects. Both objects moved in straight lines, one from west to east and the other from south to north. Although the observers used binoculars, the objects were very small and far away, making identification difficult. The observation lasted between 2 and 5 minutes, and the objects gradually disappeared from view. The report concluded they could be satellites, but no further checks were made.
The report mentions there was no physical evidence or photographs, and weather conditions were ideal for observation. It also notes that weather balloons had been launched in the area, which could have been mistaken for the objects. However, the observers, considered competent and sincere, failed to identify what they saw, leaving open the possibility that they were aircraft or highly reflective satellites.
