🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1965, a witness in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, observed seven objects arranged in a V formation. These objects were perfectly aligned and had a color similar to a full moon, but were exceptionally bright. The witness initially thought they were the sun reflected in the clouds, but noted the sun should have been higher in the sky at that time of day. The objects remained stationary for three seconds before disappearing along with the clouds, suggesting a connection to weather conditions.
The official investigation concluded it could be a solar reflection or possibly a weather balloon. Although no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found, the report noted the witness had seen similar phenomena before. The detailed description of the objects and their behavior, however, raises questions about their true nature, especially considering they disappeared in sync with the clouds.
