🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1965, an unidentified flying object was observed in the Pacific near the coordinates 34°22N 165°45E. The report notes that the object emitted alternating lights in white, green, and red, with a distinct and bright appearance. The object briefly disappeared into clouds twice but reappeared at varying altitudes, maintaining the same bearing. The observation ended at 19:15, with no determination of speed or direction.
The report was classified under Project 10073 and sent to multiple military and intelligence agencies, including the CIA and CINCPACFLT. Although no physical evidence was found, the object was described in enough detail to generate interest. The report was initially misaddressed and corrected later, highlighting the case's significance. This document is another example of the many UFO reports reviewed by authorities during the Cold War.
