🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1965, a witness in New Orleans, Louisiana, reported seeing an aerial object that appeared like a star. The phenomenon was described as an elongated, bright object with a color similar to a star, without any visible trail. What's most intriguing is that it remained stationary in the sky, which is unusual for a celestial body. The observation lasted about 16 minutes, indicating the witness paid prolonged attention. Despite this, no physical evidence was recorded, and the report concluded the witness was not a reliable source. However, such reports often raise questions about what was actually seen.
The report, part of Project 10073, describes an object that didn’t display typical characteristics of an airplane or meteor. Its fixed position in the sky and constant brightness generated some confusion. Although the official analysis attributed it to a star or planet, the object's immobility doesn't match what one would expect from a celestial body. The analysis didn't reach firm conclusions, but it leaves open the possibility that the witness saw something unusual. This case, like many others, highlights the difficulty of interpreting aerial observations without solid physical evidence.
