🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In September 1965, a witness in Chisholm, Minnesota, reported the observation of five orange-colored objects that suddenly appeared in the sky. The objects were moving at an extremely high speed, much faster than any known aircraft, and did not display characteristics of conventional planes. The observation lasted approximately thirty seconds, and the witness could not identify the origin of the objects. Despite contacting the witness for more information, the final report concluded that the case remained unidentified due to the lack of quantitative data. This document is part of Project 10073, a U.S. Air Force initiative to investigate unidentified aerial phenomena.
Post-analysis ruled out conventional explanations such as aircraft, balloons, or meteors, as the testimony did not match the characteristics of these objects. The witness did not report additional details, such as the presence of other people or the use of optical instruments, which limited the researchers' ability to validate the testimony. Although the witness was asked to complete an additional form, no sufficient information was obtained to classify the event. The case was filed as "unidentified," reflecting the difficulty the Air Force faced in resolving UFO sightings without concrete data.
