Unidentified Triangular UFO Over Damon, Texas

Summary

Two deputies from Brazoria County witnessed a triangular object with bright lights in 1965. While patrolling near Damon, Texas, they saw a bright purple light on the horizon that moved toward them. The object, approximately 200 feet long, had a bright purple light on one side and a blue light on the other. The deputies used binoculars to observe it and noted that it emitted no sound or trail. The object approached rapidly, stopped just a few yards from their car, and then disappeared. Despite investigations, no conventional explanation was found for the phenomenon.
