UFO sighting in Burgos 1970

Summary

In June 1970, a civilian pilot and a photographer observed a lenticular object over 15 meters in diameter at high altitude above Burgos. The phenomenon remained stationary for fifteen minutes, and three photographs were taken, one of which is preserved in military archives. Although initially considered a weather balloon, the detailed description and the photographs suggest it could be an unresolved case. The official investigation concluded there was no need to keep the case classified, and the file was declassified in 1993.
