🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian observer in France reported an unidentified object in 1965 during dusk, initially mistaken for Venus. The object, reddish in color, was seen for about three minutes before disappearing. At the same time, a long white vapor trail, nearly perpendicular to the ground, was observed for two to three seconds. Investigators considered the possibility that it was a meteor trail reflecting sunlight. Although no physical evidence was found, the report concluded there was no conclusive evidence for the existence of flying saucers. The case was reviewed by military authorities, who ruled out the presence of satellites or space debris in the area.
