🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In October 1965, a woman in Bexley, Ohio, observed a bright white object resembling a flying saucer. The incident occurred at night when the witness, upon waking up, saw an intense light in her backyard. The object, described as round on top and flat on the bottom, was observed for about 10 seconds before suddenly disappearing to the west. The case was documented by Project 10073, including details such as a hole in the ground and strange marks around it. Although possibilities like astronomical phenomena or optical illusions were considered, the report concluded there was no clear explanation, leading to the case being classified as "psychological".
The report includes photographs and a detailed description of the object, though no concrete identification was achieved. The witness insisted the object was not a conventional aircraft or natural phenomenon. The case was analyzed by officers at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, who concluded there was no conclusive evidence of a terrestrial explanation. Despite investigations, the incident remains unsolved, adding another mystery to the extensive list of UFO sightings in history.
