🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1965, a witness in Mollala, Oregon, reported observing an object that appeared as a small round dot, smaller than an aircraft navigation light. The object wobbled and alternated between red and white, remaining visible for 20 minutes. It was seen at least five times and reported to Portland Air Force Base. Initially thought to be Jupiter, its behavior did not match that of an astronomical body.
The report classifies the observation as ground visual, with no physical evidence found. The witness was not an aviation expert, and confusion with navigation lights or beacons was considered possible. Despite this, the object did not exhibit characteristics of known conventional objects, keeping its identity a mystery.
