🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In November 1965, a family in Middletown, Ohio, witnessed an unusual aerial phenomenon that sparked considerable interest and debate. While driving in the area, the vehicle occupants noticed a bright object in the sky, initially appearing stationary but soon moving at a surprising speed. They described clear red and white lights, and one of the teenagers mentioned a blue color. The object, according to accounts, was large, had long wings, and appeared like a lit Christmas tree.
The object descended rapidly, landed near the river, and then took off toward the northwest. Authorities, including the Air Force, investigated the incident. Although the possibility of it being an experimental Armco aircraft was considered, no definitive explanation was found. Additional witnesses in the area reported abnormal lights and sounds similar to a jet, but no conclusive evidence was found. The case was classified as two separate observations: one attributed to the aircraft and the other remaining unidentified.
