Summary

In November 1965, an Air Force officer reported a bright explosion in the Pacific sky. The phenomenon illuminated the horizon with a bluish light, and visible contrails lingered for two minutes. The exact location was recorded as 28°57'N, 173°45'W. Additional data included a 42-degree angle and winds of 15 knots.

The report was shared with several agencies, including the CIA and the Pentagon. Although no cause was identified, the event was classified as celestial.
