🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In December 1965, a witness in Caracas, Venezuela, reported seeing a pink, grapefruit-sized object moving at high speed. The object was observed for one minute, maintaining a straight course without tail or noise. Although initially considered a satellite, its size and speed raised questions. The official report classifies it as a possible satellite, though other explanations are not ruled out.
The report details that the object appeared at about 45 degrees above the horizon and disappeared behind haze at 45 degrees. The witness, experienced in satellite observation, did not use optical instruments and the weather was clear with slight haze in the area. Despite the official evaluation, the object's speed and size generated doubts about its identity as a conventional satellite.
