🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1965 report describes the observation of a bright pinkish object, three-quarters the size of the moon, seen for over an hour in Santa Susana, California. The witness described it moving in a zigzag pattern, with no clear altitude. Despite the long observation time, there were no other reports in the area, which confused investigators. The lack of precise data, such as position or photographs, made any conclusive analysis difficult.
The report, classified under number 8692450, was sent to the 65520 Support Group of the United States Air Force. The responsible officer provided no additional comments, and no physical evidence or images of the phenomenon were found. Although a balloon was considered as a possibility, the description and duration of the event did not match conventional objects. This case remains a mystery in the files of unidentified aerial phenomena.
