In January 1966, an observer in Syracuse, New York, spotted a red and white object with lights moving erratically. The incident occurred between 23:00 and 24:00, and the object was described as similar in size to a large passenger plane. Although no photos were taken, it was mentioned that the object had possible wings and three lights. The observation was made at an altitude of 15,000 feet, adding mystery to the description.

The description of the object suggests it was not a conventional aircraft, as its movement was not stable. The witness, a 25-year-old bank teller, stated he simply looked up and saw the object.
