Summary

In January 1966, a witness in Alabama observed a round object 10 to 12 feet in diameter with a ring around the center. The object had a hatch on the bottom and emitted a sound similar to a turbine engine. The witness noted a smell of rotten eggs and mentioned that his watch stopped during the incident. The object hovered just 5 feet above the ground and 2 feet from the observer before accelerating and disappearing in seconds.

The object also had a cone on top with a blinking green light. The Air Force investigated the case and found no evidence of heat or impact in the area. The witness was considered very reliable and provided precise instructions to reach the location.
