🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1966, two witnesses in Houston, Texas, reported an unidentified flying object (UFO) performing unusual movements in the sky. According to the report, the object circled, darted, and moved rapidly without leaving any physical evidence or being photographed. The duration of the sighting was contradictory: initially reported as 2 minutes, it was later corrected to 20 minutes. This inconsistency, along with the lack of physical or photographic evidence, led investigators to classify the case as "conflicting," unable to determine its origin.
The original report, submitted to Ellington Air Force Base, lacked sufficient data for a precise evaluation. As a result, the observer was asked to complete a detailed form to provide more information. Despite the contradictions, the witnesses insisted the object had no conventional shape and did not exhibit characteristics of a known aircraft or natural phenomenon. This case highlights the complexity of UFO reports, where data inconsistencies make scientific analysis challenging.
