In February 1966, a resident of Nederland, Texas reported an UFO that appeared at dawn. The object was first noticed when the house lights went out, prompting the witness to look out the window. There, he observed a pulsating reddish glow followed by yellowish-red lights moving horizontally at about 500 feet. The witness described the object as a "tadpole" with a 6-foot tail and a 3-foot diameter, with lights coming from the tail.
