🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In February 1966, a civilian in Centerville, Ohio, reported observing an object in the sky that remained visible for 22 minutes. The witness described the object as brighter than a star but without a defined shape. The object remained stationary in the sky, at approximately 75 degrees azimuth and 10 degrees elevation. Interestingly, the witness mentioned that their dog barked during the observation. At the time of the sighting, Venus was in a nearby position, leading investigators to conclude that the object might be Venus. However, the report does not rule out other possibilities.
