🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1966, a witness in Columbus, Ohio, called Lockbourne Air Force Base to report an object that appeared to land on the golf course at Ohio State University. The observer mentioned the object had flashing lights, but provided no further details. Due to the lack of concrete information, authorities concluded there was insufficient data for a definitive evaluation.
The report requested a Form 704 to obtain more details, but it was not received within the 30-day timeframe. The case remained pending, unresolved. Although another sighting of a V-shaped object with green and red lights is mentioned, its nature could not be confirmed. This case reflects the difficulty investigators faced in obtaining clear and verifiable information from UFO reports at the time.
