In March 1966, a witness in Guntersville, Alabama, reported an unidentified flying object that appeared like a meteor, but slower. The object emitted a pulsating light that alternated between bright and dim, which caught the observer's attention. According to the report, the object descended slowly, stopped for a few seconds, and then accelerated eastward. Although the presence of aircraft in the area was noted, investigators concluded there was no indication that the sighting was not of a conventional aircraft. The testimony, though brief, includes details such as the duration of the sighting (50 seconds) and the visual description of the object, making it an interesting case within the records of unidentified aerial phenomena from that era.
