🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Freer, Texas, reported a round object that appeared to be the color of a jellyfish and measured about 100 feet wide and high. The object had a plastic bubble on the bottom and showed pitted marks on its surface. It was visible for over two hours, moving southeast and rising slowly.
The report, dated March 3, 1966, was classified as an astronomical phenomenon—specifically Venus. However, the witness did not mention Venus in their description, suggesting a later identification. There was no physical evidence or photographs, and the officer in charge concluded there was no clear explanation for the event.
