🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In 1966, a report from Project 10073 documented an unidentified object sighting in Los Angeles. A civilian submitted photographs of an object with a blunt nose and a square pod behind it. The object appeared in an image taken during the full moon, with excellent visibility. The photographer did not notice anything unusual at the time and could not recall the exact date. The black and white photo lacked clear details, but the Air Force requested a formal evaluation with the original negative.
The Air Force asked to complete a form for analysis, emphasizing the need for the original negative to proceed. The report also mentioned that the photographer's name would not be released and that printed copies and conclusions would be sent. Although no physical evidence or additional photos were found, the case was deemed insufficient for a conclusive evaluation. The incident reflected the era's interest in UFOs and the Air Force's investigative methods.
