🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1966, two witnesses in Lone Rock, Wisconsin, observed a rectangular object moving across the sky. The object, described as bright white with multiple crossed lights, was seen for 3 to 5 seconds before disappearing instantaneously at ground level. The observation was made on foot, without optical aids, and the object left no physical evidence. Official reports suggested it might have been a weather balloon, though witnesses insisted it didn’t resemble anything known. The object’s description and its rainbow-like movement generated some controversy, especially due to its intense brightness and unusual motion.
