🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A civilian in Uniontown, Ohio, reported in 1966 observing a bright object in the sky moving rapidly. The witness, along with his son, saw a light brighter than Venus that appeared directly overhead and headed north. The object occasionally stopped, moved side to side, and then continued its path. The observation lasted between 5 and 7 minutes. Although the initial report concluded it was the ECHO II satellite, the witness insisted its behavior was not typical and requested further investigation.
The witness tried contacting local weather services without success and eventually reported the incident to a national control tower. He expressed concern that these objects might be technologically more advanced than humanity and suggested a deeper investigation was needed. His message reflected a mix of curiosity, concern, and hope that authorities would take such reports seriously.
