UFO in Houston 1966

Summary

In March 1966, several strange sightings of unidentified flying objects were reported in Houston, Texas. A notable case occurred on March 20, when a civilian heard an unusual sound, similar to a repetitive whirring, without seeing anything visually. The neighborhood dogs also barked in response. Although a form was sent for completion, no response was received after 30 days.

Another observation on March 22 described a bright, smoky white object that appeared near an apartment. Witnesses claimed the object was about 30 feet away, as large as two cars, and disappeared quickly, leaving the air filled with smoke. Despite these details, the Air Force could not identify the phenomenon and requested further information.
