🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In March 1966, an observer at the control tower of Cannon AFB in New Mexico sighted an unidentified object for two hours. The object, described as circular, ranging from orange to blue-white, appeared to move toward the observer while slowly rising above the horizon. Despite clear weather and 15 miles of visibility, the object showed no signs of being an airplane or any conventional object. Its brightness was intense, comparable to a flashlight, and its unusual behavior generated interest among military authorities.
The observation was made by Stanley J. Lupinski, an air traffic controller considered completely reliable by his supervisor. Although it was suggested that it could have been the planet Venus, it was not in the reported position. The object gradually disappeared at sunrise, leaving no physical evidence. This case is part of the records of Project 10073, which documents UFO sightings with military rigor.
