In March 1966, a group of civilians in Colorado Springs observed four lights in red, blue, green, and white for one hour. The objects moved erratically north and south with some hovering, and the lights appeared to go out intermittently. Witnesses, who were comet hunters, attributed this to scattered clouds. Although no photos or physical evidence were collected, the report suggested the objects could have been mistaken for celestial bodies.
Another sighting in March 1966 involved a single egg-shaped object, blue-white in color, described as resembling a pineapple with legs. It moved southward and remained visible for 1.5 hours. Investigators concluded it might have been Venus, visible as a morning star at the time. Despite detailed descriptions, no conclusive images or physical evidence were obtained.
