🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A woman from Erlanger, Kentucky, observed an object in the sky that she believed to be a satellite. On March 28, 1966, at 8:40 AM, she noticed a bright white point moving slowly northward. Through binoculars, she described it as a star-like object but closer and in motion. The object remained visible for about five minutes before disappearing from view. The report classifies the phenomenon as a satellite, possibly one of the known models such as Echo I or Pegasus. Although the observation was visual and without physical evidence, the analysis suggests it was a satellite visible to the naked eye, a common occurrence at the time with early artificial satellites.
