A brief but clear sighting occurred in Thornwood, New York, on April 25, 1966. Three witnesses observed a solid object with four evenly spaced yellow or orange lights. The object was moving southwest and disappeared behind some trees. The observation lasted about 15 seconds, with no photos taken and no physical evidence found. Although an aircraft was considered a possibility, the description did not fully match conventional objects.
The official report classified it as "possibly an aircraft," but the unusual nature of the object was not entirely ruled out. The detailed description of the lights and steady movement suggests a focused and coherent observation. Despite the short duration, the witnesses' accounts were consistent, adding credibility to the report.
