🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Harrisville, Michigan, reported in 1966 an object resembling a large ball with three arms. The main body was white and glowing, while the arms emitted blinking red lights. The object hovered around 200 feet above the trees, slowly moving backward and forward before returning to its original position. The observer, a college student, noted that the UFO followed him briefly before disappearing. Later, when returning to the location, he saw it again, this time descending rapidly before stabilizing. The total duration of both sightings was 30 minutes.
Wurtsmith Air Force Base was conducting aerial refueling operations at the time, and the area was within its flight pattern. However, the report suggested the phenomenon could be explained as a combination of northern lights and swamp gas, along with the possibility that the observer mistook a reflected light on a tree. Despite this, the young man's sincere and detailed account adds an air of mystery to this classic 1960s case.
