🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1966, a witness in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, reported a bright object crossing the sky in just a few seconds. He described a steady white light, brighter than Venus or Jupiter, moving at an estimated speed of Mach 2 or 3. The object traveled in a straight line from the zenith to the horizon, leaving no visible trail. Despite its apparent speed, no physical or photographic evidence was recorded. The report concluded it was a meteor, though the observer's meteorological background adds intrigue to the case.
