Blinking UFO over Bossier City

Summary

In April 1966, a college student in Bossier City, Louisiana, reported seeing a glowing object that blinked and ascended rapidly. The object appeared orange and red, hovering, circling, and then climbing sharply at about a 60-degree angle. Several neighbors also witnessed it, and the observer used binoculars to track it. However, investigators concluded it was likely the reflection of ground lights off overcast clouds, possibly from a nearby carnival. While the witness insisted on seeing a moving object, there was no physical evidence or photographs to support the sighting.
