In April 1966, a witness in Osterville, Massachusetts, observed a rectangular object approximately 2 feet long and 1.5 feet wide. The object had two blue-white lights on one end and moved rapidly from north to south in just five seconds, maintaining a level trajectory. Although an investigator initially thought it could be the exhaust glow of a low-flying aircraft, the speed and lack of sound led to the consideration that it might be a meteor.
