🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1966 report describes a UFO seen over Syracuse, New York, by two witnesses. The object appeared as a bright light, brighter than a light bulb, and left sparks behind it. It was moving southward and suddenly disappeared, like a flare going out. The observation lasted less than 20 seconds, and the witnesses concluded it was not a meteor due to its low altitude. The official report classified it as an astronomical phenomenon, possibly a meteor. Although no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found, the testimony was detailed and consistent between the two observers.
