🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A witness in Superior, Wisconsin, reported a round, white object the size of a golf ball that appeared suddenly on the night of April 15, 1966. The object rose to about 45 degrees above the horizon and disappeared behind a building in just two seconds. The observer, 23 years old, was working at a gas station when he saw it with the naked eye. The weather was clear, aiding the observation.
The Air Force classified the incident as an asteroid or meteor, though the testimony describes a descending trajectory and a very short duration. No physical evidence or additional witnesses were found. Despite the official explanation, the object's description and behavior raised some doubts. The report, part of Project 10073, includes weather data and wind directions but provides no further details about the phenomenon's identity.
