🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1966, a witness in Norfolk, Virginia, saw a bright white light shaped like a slightly pear. The object moved in an unusual way, bouncing, oscillating, and hovering. The observation lasted 5 to 6 minutes, and the witness used no optical aids. The object appeared near the water before rapidly ascending and disappearing from view. Although the initial report found no conventional explanations, such as aircraft or balloons, no physical evidence or additional testimonies were obtained.
Project Blue Book, responsible for investigating UFO sightings, concluded there was insufficient information for evaluation. The witness was asked to complete a form, but it was never received. Despite the Air Force's good intentions, the case remained unresolved. The object's description and behavior did not fit known categories, adding mystery to the incident.
