🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In April 1966, a witness in California reported an object changing shape. It first appeared as a horseshoe and then transformed into something resembling an exclamation mark. The sighting was ground-based and lasted about 30 minutes. Although no photos or physical evidence were taken, the object was described as bright and blue.
Travis Air Force Base investigated the case. A weather officer, using Air Force binoculars, observed a bright blue flash at the same time as the sighting. This led to the consideration that it might have been a meteor. However, the object remained visible longer than typical for a meteor, raising doubts. Ultimately, the report was deemed insufficient to classify the phenomenon as a UFO.
