🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
A 1966 report describes the sighting of a round green object over Kingston, Massachusetts. The witness, a legal secretary, observed the object for three minutes as it sank toward the western horizon. Although no photos or physical evidence were collected, scientists from the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory reported a very bright meteor in the area at the same time. The Air Force requested additional information but did not receive the expected response. The case was deemed insufficient for a conclusive evaluation.
The object's description and trajectory generated interest, though the most plausible explanation points to a natural phenomenon. This case reflects the complexity of UFO reports, where the lack of concrete data makes a definitive resolution difficult.
