🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1966, a witness in Pittsburgh observed two bright objects in the sky, one to the east and one to the west. Both rose to about 30 degrees and traveled westward, hovering for five to six minutes before disappearing suddenly. The report, part of Project 10073, includes no photos or physical evidence, and the official conclusion was that the data was insufficient for a definitive evaluation. Although a form was sent to the witness, no response was received, leaving the case unresolved.
The report details that the objects were about the size of a nickel and had a silvery blinking center. The witness saw them at night, in a cloudy sky, and no sounds or other associated phenomena were recorded. Although the officer in charge suggested it might be a natural phenomenon, the unusual nature of the event and the lack of a clear explanation make it an intriguing case in the UFO files.
