🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1966, a witness in Dobbston, Ohio, reported an unidentified flying object that generated considerable interest. According to the account, the observer heard a pulsating sound similar to a swarm of bees, but saw none. Looking through binoculars, he described a rectangular amber-colored object moving rapidly and tumbling in the air. Despite attempts to locate it again, the object vanished without a trace. The Air Force concluded there was insufficient data for an official evaluation, but the testimony reflects the confusion and curiosity of the time regarding UFO sightings.
The report also notes that the witness, a sober man with good eyesight, assured that he had not consumed alcohol or any substances. He also mentioned that birds in the area stopped singing during the sighting, adding an unusual element to the case. Although conventional explanations like a bee swarm were dismissed, the testimony remains a compelling example of how UFO sightings can generate both mystery and controversy.
