In May 1966, four witnesses in Camden, Ohio, reported a bright object resembling a red searchlight. The phenomenon lasted seven minutes and the object moved silently. Initially bright, it dimmed and disappeared suddenly. Investigators concluded it could be the star Arcturus, located exactly where the object was observed in the sky.
The report details that the object was described as a reddish to pale light, silent, and with irregular movement. Despite the clear description, no physical evidence or photographs were found. The final assessment suggests an astronomical explanation, but the multiple testimonies and detailed description leave room for doubt.
