🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1966, a witness in Leetonia, Ohio, reported an unidentified object over a three-week period. The object appeared between 21:30 and 23:00 local time, always heading west. Though at a high altitude, it was not as high as the stars. Sometimes it moved slightly northwest and other times slightly southwest, but only on clear nights. The witness ruled out an airplane because it did not blink. The information provided was very sparse, so a form was sent to gather more details.
Project 10073 concluded there was insufficient data for evaluation. Despite sending a form to the witness, it was not returned within 30 days. The case remained open for reevaluation if further information was received. The final message from Project Blue Book thanked the witness for their cooperation and highlighted the importance of reporting anomalous observations.
