🇺🇸 USAF — Project Blue Book
In May 1966, a witness in Atlanta, Georgia, reported a luminous object in the sky that disappeared and reappeared. The object, white with a hint of yellow, moved in multiple directions and was observed for about five minutes. The observation was made from the ground, through trees, which complicated the clear view of the phenomenon. The report suggested it could have been the star Altair, though the possibility of an unidentified aerial phenomenon was not ruled out.
The report includes a detailed assessment of the sky conditions, exact location, and observation time. Although no photos were taken and no physical evidence was found, the witness's testimony was carefully recorded. The analysis concluded the object might have been mistaken for a star due to its brightness and unusual movement. This case is part of the Project 10073 files, which collected data on UFO sightings for study.
